His original intent

Hi Good Morning

The Lord dwelling in us is not to tickle us or make us feel good but to bring us closer to Jesus. The Spirit of Jesus is the Holy Spirit. He is not there to make us feel special. He is there to make us realize that our primary calling is to "worship" and be like JESUS.

The main challenge today in the church is that we have reduced the Lord's Spirit to what HE can do for me.

The question is not what HE can do for me.
The Question is: what is HIS Original Intent for my life?
Why does the Spirit of JESUS desire to possess me?
Why does He desire to make HIS Dwelling in my life?
Why does HE want to make HIS HOLY Habitation in me?

The more we realize that HIS Spirit dwells in us to make us holy, the more our perspective changes.

The world says, "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness."

The Kingdom says, true life comes from HIS Life, True Liberty comes from knowing the Truth and Truth is not a policy but a PERSON and pursuit of Happiness comes as a "byproduct" of Holiness not the other way around.

The Spirit of JESUS brings us out from the spirit of orphan into His family and makes us sons and daughters of the Kingdom. This is far greater and much higher than we could ever imagine. It is more than cheap thrills that give us a kick and a kick back. May we embrace all HIS original intent and walk in all that HE designed for us.

Have a blessed day. Amen

Shalom
